One thing in advance, because it is so important to us: Sailing beginners Welcome! You don't need any previous knowledge or certificates to sail with us. You can fully rely on your experienced skipper on board, who you have booked on your single trip. Your "friendly" skipper will explain the basics of sailing and will be happy to show you everything in detail if you have any questions!
What type of vacationer are you?
As we all know, there are holidaymakers like this and those like that. Those who like all-inclusive packages and mass tourism. And then there are those who value an individual and special vacation. Our cruise for solo travelers is made for the latter. For people like you. Relaxed. Uncomplicated. Adventurous. You'll get to know exactly this type of vacationer: Your fellow sailors are between 20 and 45 years old. All of them singles or single travelers. No couples make up the crew. They all love doing activities together, but also want to be free on their vacation and have time to relax and unwind.
Lean back and relax!
All you have to do is book your trip on your own with sailwithus. We take care of the rest. In other words: sailwithus takes care of the sailing yacht, the skipper and the sailing tour on site. This makes vacation fun! Your yacht consists of three to five cabins in which five to a maximum of ten people can stay overnight. By the way, we almost forgot the "cabin sharing": You share the cabin with a fellow traveler (of the same sex). If you like, you can travel as a couple with a friend traveling alone and share a bunk in a double or bunk bed. And if you would like to sleep outside under the stars, the deck of your yacht is always open to you. If you have special requirements, you can request a single cabin. Just as you like it!
Sailing route with room to maneuver
Your singles vacation is perfectly planned. And yet you still have the freedom to adapt the day's destinations individually – depending on the wind and weather as well as your mood. Your skipper will make suggestions, then you and the crew decide where to go. How long you sail depends on your program. If you are traveling alone, you will normally be at sea for three to six hours. Then you enter a harbor or drop anchor in a beautiful bay. In most areas, sailwithus sails with several yachts. This is of course a great way to meet up with the other crews and skippers at the end of your sailing day.
Yummy, Yummy
How cool is that? You cook in a fully equipped kitchen on your yacht. But you don't have to. If you'd rather go to a typical local Mediterranean restaurant – go for it! You should definitely try the regional specialties. Breakfast and a small snack at lunchtime are available on the sailing yacht. You'll be well provided for because you and your fellow sailors will buy almost all the food and drinks for the week on the first day of your vacation from the shared on-board cash box.
Especially with group sailing, you can relax and decide what the day brings you today. Book a whole yacht just for you and your friends to enjoy even more flexibility!
